Charles Compo

Managing Partner

Mr. Compo has thirty years of diverse business experience. He has acted as both a principal and advisor on multiple transactions involving debt and equity financings, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings across various industries, including healthcare, packaging, building products, logistics, and software.

Prior to the formation of Carriage Hill he was a founding partner of Iridium Partners, a merger and acquisition advisory firm and merchant bank focused on private, middle market companies. Prior to that, he was affiliated with two intermediary firms, Haley Capital and Acquisition Associates, where he assisted entrepreneurs and former top executives in their acquisitions of private companies. Mr. Compo has been an operating partner and director of a number of companies, including Experience Design, Industrial Products Enterprises and Alfa Medical. He has been an exclusive advisor and lead negotiator on complex business transactions, including the recapitalizations of General Home Pharmacy, Bradley Morris and A&R Logistics.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Compo was employed by Loeb, Rhodes, Hornblower & Company (subsequently acquired by Shearson Lehman/American Express), in various operational capacities on the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the American Stock Exchange. He has completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and has earned an Executive Certificate in Innovation and Strategy from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, where he is a contributor to the innovation@work blog. Mr. Compo is a published composer and is the Honorary Chairman of the NRCC advisory council on small business.
