Charles Compo

Managing Partner

Mr. Compo has thirty years of extensive business experience, having been involved as both a principal and advisor in numerous transactions. His work spans debt and equity financings, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings across a variety of industries, including healthcare, packaging, energy, logistics, and software.

Before establishing Carriage Hill, Mr. Compo co-founded Iridium Partners, a merger and acquisition advisory firm and merchant bank focused on private, middle-market companies. Previously, he was affiliated with Haley Capital and Acquisition Associates, where he aided entrepreneurs and former executives in acquiring private businesses. Mr. Compo has also been an operating partner and director for multiple companies, such as Experience Design, Industrial Products Enterprises, and Alfa Medical. He has served as an exclusive advisor and lead negotiator on complex business transactions, including the recapitalizations of Central Maloney and GCom Software and the sale of 220 Laboratories, and General Home Pharmacy.

Mr. Compo started his career at Loeb, Rhodes, Hornblower & Company, which was later acquired by Shearson Lehman/American Express, working in various operational roles on the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the American Stock Exchange. He has completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and earned an Executive Certificate in Innovation and Strategy from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, where he also contributes to the innovation@work blog. Additionally, Mr. Compo is a published composer.
