Debbie Major has extensive administrative and marketing skills that come from a long and distinguished career in the nonprofit world. As Founder / Executive Director of Zylofone Studios, she created and implemented outreach programs for people of all ages with cognitive and physical disabilities, autism, and has broadly served the Special Needs community at large for over 30 years. She has developed widely acclaimed college intern training programs and workshops, utilizing innovative teaching methodologies that empower people to identify and develop their creative talents, and she has been a professional entertainer and music instructor most of her life.

Debbie has been recognized with numerous awards for her work, including the Mary Lee Berry Shining Stars Award for Outstanding Service to People with Disabilities and a Susan B Anthony Citizen Of The Month award. She has also been a long standing host of the weekly “Non-Profit Notebook” program on WTBQ Radio in Warwick, New York.
